I agree 100% about the 15 minute thing. But when I get out, shut the door, and head to my mailbox I really don't need the truck to honk twice. Now if I walk away and 10 minutes later haven't come back, then honk away.I agree though I think if car runs more than 15 minutes or so it should honk periodically unless in regen mode when powering a house during electrical outage. I recently was at an event where they announced someone let there car running at least 45 minutes. Not a tree hugger and believe natural selection should eventually eliminate clueless people but some people need a reminder-apparently . The event was 3-1/2 hours long so imagine had somebody not been by it twice to realize it was still running for 45-ish minutes and made an announcement.
Back to McD’s needing the hot warning on their coffee cups. Another layer of CYA because of clueless/sue happy people
Side question/Random Thought:
When I walk away from my current Ram and leave it on, the truck is running. If I walk away from the Scout and do the same thing, is it "running" or just powered up?
