What did you reserve?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Did anyone catch how the range extender will work? I just caught the end of it.. no motor.. I hope .. no maintenance like my Tesla!
I got the impression it would be like my previous Gen 1 Volt, which is good and bad. Has all the advantages of a Gas car but also all the disadvantages. I selected the extender more for resale as I can see all these EV naysayers only being comfortable getting in one that offers a gas alternative. But as a current full EV owner (now a Mach E), I dont think its really a necessity for me.

The truck, just hope it’s not like Tesla and offer a $60k truck and then at production (surprise) ask for $100k!

Or like Canoo where they take all our money, live like fat cats and have no product to show after 5 years!!

Don’t even get me started about Atlas or what ever three letters they are going by today!!!

Depends how Scout lives up to all of todays hype, if they fail, can always go with a good used Rivian, looks almost the same vehicle(s) and now proven.

lol.

Reserved both a Traveler and Terra. If battery tech by 2027 gives the EV only model even better range, then won't need the gas range extender. And if not, then I'll keep my Harvester reservation. 👍

Terra w/ extender but may swap when the time comes depending on my current vehicles in my driveway

My biggest issue on not getting the CT is that if I go hunting, I’m pushing it realllly close to get to the nearest charger.

And the interior was boring, the exterior of the CT is obnoxious but awesome.

TERRA - Pure electric. My R1T has been the best truck I have owned, but by 2027 it might be time. I'm coming up on 38K miles.

When I preordered my R1T I was hoping for a retractable rear window and I wasn't STOKED on air suspension, based on other air issues with other manufacturers, and adding an extra foot of bed length is a big deal to me. I'll take the 5.5 TERRA bed. I'm guessing I will miss my gear tunnel though.

Traveller with the Harvester Gas + Electric.
Cannot wait for some of the options to be shown, bumper replacement and roof rack photos looked slick!
Hope they offer factory pick up so you can road trip home cross country!

Ha me too, although I wouldn't have very far to drive since I live in Charlotte NC. Guess that's a no brainer since we don't have to worry about stealerships lol.
