What are you driving until release?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I alternate between a '22 Model 3 LR and a '24 Ram 2500 depending on mission set. Oh and the '66 F250 when I feel like a really rough ride :)

VW Golf R for my daily. Lexus LC500 for summer.

If you LC500 had a soft top and the navy blue interior I’d be a very jealous person

The navy blue interior is killer! The rear-wheel steering isn't available on the convertible and I like the coupe. Nothing against convertibles though. I wanted the nori green exterior with the the tan interior but I got tired of waiting for Lexus to find one.

OMG-I saw one in Nori. As much as I like the nori on the GX it is so sweet on the LC. When my daughter got her IS350 the dealer had the white/blue interior I’d showroom. Was an order that fell through. They were discounting it by almost $12000 but just wasn’t practical at the time. Short of the traveler the LC has always been my dream car. Glad you get to enjoy it

Thanks! It's a great car. I wanted to get a naturally aspirated V8 before they are gone. It's a glorious motor that loves to rev.

2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door with 137000+ miles. If I buy a Scout, the Wrangler will still be with me. We will see if the Scout comes even close to how good the Jeep has been. Wife has a 2024 Lexus NX350 which is now our going long distances vehicle. Hopefully, the Scout will live up to its ancestors. The ancestors weren’t great dependable, economical vehicles but they were awesome! I had two and wish I still had both, along with my old Bronco.

2021 Ford Ranger for adventures and Tesla Model Y for daily driving. We were looking at trading in the Ranger now, but will probably wait until 2027 now that we have a Scout reservation. There's really nothing else on the market that fits what we're looking for

I am driving a 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV. I love it. I get 34 miles all-electric, which is perfect for everyday. However, I’m looking forward to 150 miles all- electric PLUS the Harvester which will make it a PHEV on steroids!! The monthly trip to Seattle will also be electric. 👏

Some of my favorites. Love the QX. Happy with the new Z? Really debated getting one of them. Had a lot of Nissans in my early married life and always liked them. Miss the pathfinder!

Love the new Z. It's fast, handles well, is pretty comfortable and looks amazing. I have a feeling it'll be the last manual car I ever purchase. At least that's the plan! If Nissan did put together a manual transmission Nismo Z, I'd be sorely tempted to trade. But barring that....I'm planning on keeping it!

I was a fan of these back in the day as well as honda prelude. New prelude has similar profile but the front end detailing just can’t match the Z. Ashame because the prelude was iconic in a similar way. Love the Datsun cues in the design. Followed this a lot before release but just couldn’t justify though I look every time I see one 😀
