From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. I’d be surprised at the reveal but would be cool if they do a forum members up close event
We are exploring a lot of different options. Obviously, it is really hard to do an event when you don't know how many people might show up (size, venue, security, etc., etc.). We want our community to be part of it and we are looking at different ways to do that. Also, we will be touring the vehicles around the country after reveal, so there should be opportunities to see them in different places. Stay tuned...

Can first stop be Chesapeake area so there is a water background? I’m cool driving south from Lancaster since I know there are a few Marylanders on here
I have tried to keep up, but I probably have failed miserably. I have heard that the factory groundbreaking has happened, but I can only assume it will take a while to get it built and the machinery installed. Which leads to the second assumption that any reveal this year would be from a concept vehicle shop.
Near production concept. Meaning most of what you see will be the same as the production model. But there may be details on the concept that don't make it, or might change slightly with tweaks. Factory construction is moving along with the first concrete footings and foundations going in two weeks ago. We should have regular updates starting this week on a monthly basis (or when a major milestone happens). We will show both the SUV and pickup truck late summer and those vehicles will be touring after that to numerous events and cities. We will also start talking about our technology platform and various capabilities. Our first mules will be built later this year and as we get closer to production, pre-production cars will start testing as well. So between now and production at end of 2026 there will be LOTS to talk about, explore and experience.
We can't wait to finally be able to show what our teams have been working on. The designs look great and uniquely Scout.
Looking forward to it Jamie! This is an exciting adventure for those who have been apart of the process and will continue to be until the end. From the announcement of Scout, to the early renderings, manufacturing ground breaking and now speculation(s) to soon to be reveal. Hope we'll see more teasers to distract us until the actual reveal occurs.
I’m available to drive one for the tour. I promise not to drive it straight to my garage.

The reveal will be late summer, so after both Nationals and Harvester Homecoming this year. But 2025 it is a definite possibility.
At bronco 6g we suggest using a big cardboard box to test out the accident avoidance warning systemSo long as you stop before you hit the rear wall
