Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Hope they offer the dark blue gray color on a Scout model with orange accents. I’d be very tempted to buy one of those 😀
Not sure I'd like that as much as a blue that's a bit lighter than their flag plus the orange. It's reminiscent of our alma mater:
« Ray Bucknell, Ray Bucknell, Ray for the Orange and the Blue »

I remain hopeful of a medium-dark Forest Green, akin to the British Racing Green, but quietly metallic.

This is the only green Scout I would buy- but to each their own. Pretty sure Anything Scout built this beauty.

It is an interesting color. I think that is Jeep Rescue Green or similar. What I found myself looking at is the major blind spot caused by the spare tire. Hopefully, SM has a better solution.

THIS!
Definitely this!
WOW, just can’t say enough
Perhaps it my middle age reaching mid life crisis mode but something about burnt orange/red hits hard right now. I love the previous Tahitian red which I think Broncos modern color is close with a hot pepper red. This is more orange/copper. Love it!

When it comes down to it, this will likely be the most difficult decision for me when opting for a color, it's more of the flavor of the week and it can vary for me personally. When looking at the Bronco, I couldn't make a decision, Ford basically made it for me unfortunately by limiting color choice per trim. The trim was easy to determine based on how I planned to use the vehicle. I'm not by any means advocating to limit color choices to trims. I have to see it in person, images often don't capture the true essence of a color, especially those that can flip and flop based on sunlight. I'm a big fan of vintage colors with a modern taken with metal flakes.
I am really starting to like all these flat colors everyone is wrapping their vehicles in. The Dark charcoal grey is really cool. I've seen a dark blue on Aniston Martin that looked great but, I think a flat pearls white would have my vote.

First choice would be a flat, matte, or satin Black!

Second choice would be a creamy light grey similar to Toyota's "Cement" color or GM's "Thunderstorm Grey"... or maybe even a flat "Army Green" of some sort?
