The gray on the Terra reminded of a slate gray with somehow a matte finish with some metallic flake

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

There will be options for the top “blade”-my term, guess I could just say roof above the greenhouse. The concept was fun metal and conversations sound like a light colored option as well
I would prefer to see a matte black mixture with a mercury silver sheen that is matte as well. Similar to what is shown on the prototype vehicle. I just want it to be a little bit more bold so it stands out.
I'm still hopeful of a solid darker green; call it forest or british racing or Vermont, I don't care. A different colour top option might be nice, but I think a saddle tan might be better than white.
I could live with many other colours, too, but my next favourite would be a real copper -- the shade you have right after you use steel wool on the pipe and it's ready for solder.
Our current pickup is a dull army green with a lot of the clay/stone pigment in it. We accepted it back when pickups were scarce. People say a colour will 'grow on you'; it didn't. I still don't much like any of those stone or clay colours that several manufacturers offer.

Color is so important. I’m surprised the subtle colors are winning out. Especially the blues have less votes. When I see OG scouts in my head - they are all blue with a white top. I love the copper but like my 15 yo son said - you’ll get lost in traffic. No one driving a scout wants to get lost in traffic.

Someone posted these on another fourum, this may be taboo to crosswalk sites but here I go...
Pretty decent palette. I expect a white needs to be added to support the folks who want to cover it with a vinyl wrap of their choice (or for Alaskans who want to hide). I'm happy to see that the usual range from magnetite to silver has been omitted.
Kinda like the teal but needs to be a vintage teal. Won’t get dark gray but it looks good. Tint those windows and it would be pretty menacing

Agreed that it would be cool to see such a green, of course, with the International Scout signature touch - maybe dressed in Rallye stripes? My favorite Land Rover was my 1995 Coniston Green Discovery Series 1. Coniston was a flat, dark grassy green, which everyone is now mimicking in grays and rusts.
I don’t care what colors are offered as long as it’s not seven shades of gray, white, black, and one interesting color, like every other automaker these days. Scouts are fun. Off-roading is fun. I hope there’s a palate of fun colors to reflect that.
Our IH dealer sold the trucks and refrigerators. I still have my Dads ‘58 350 narrow front. Would love to see the same color combo, red and ivory with a Farmall edition designed for work.
When are the interior options going to
be presented. Some complementing plaid patterns will be appreciated!
The plaid was subtle and it was on the ceiling liner fabric and molded into foot pedals and the charging pads. I spoke with some of the interiors teams (as we pushed early on here on the forum to have plaid) but I think their intent is to be very subtle. Was bummed but any plaid is better than no plaid.
With the way they did the seat design it would be a cool option to change the top portion from the nubby off white material to a cool plaid material. That would be very cool
Although my ‘63 scout 80 (my 1st vehicle) was forest green - copper would look awesome. Anyone else thinking white letters out on the wheels?
