Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

No mix all those colors together and it's actually a soft but rugged color / smoke gray metallic with black rims mirrors and roof and front grill tow hooks and rear swing away tire. Grey calibers

Hello Scouts!

We thought it would be fun to talk colors and see what people are interested in. So, let's assume black, white and silver are in the mix already. Here are a variety of different shades of fun colors for your voting pleasure. We are going to limit this just three votes per registered user, so pick your top 3 choices. Since it doesn't officially count, don't bother creating a different account just to bump something up. We will run some semi-official color polls much later as we get closer to production. Ok, so here are some general choices:

I'd like to see at least a few flat/earthly colors like green, grey, and tan. If not flat, at least non-metallic.

Thank you for doing this!

Love the look of the dark green but would love to have the roof be white, may end up having the roof wrapped in white. I am on my 4th Tesla and can't wait to get the Traveler..... 2027 hurry up!

They will be offering a light top, dark top and color matched top per @Jamie@ScoutMotors. It may not be pUte white but assume will look good as I get the look you are going for.

Kudos to Scout for using the top three colors in this poll during the reveal. It's nice to know you're listening to the community!

Hey: How about...White? How bout' Desert Camo in flat? Easiest to fix. I do intend to "rub it up" a little.

Scout Motors could be the first manufacturer to offer custom wraps. Just sayin'
As I see it wraps are a temporary thing, seems like 7 years max if you really baby it. I want a colour that lasts like my 59+ year old Scout has, same as when we bought it in 1964.

Durable Denim blue with black rockers and wheel wells, black mirrors with illuminated scout projections. Lock able storage behind swing away spare. Let's see what the minds of scout bring to life and at what final price point. The battery extender has to work while driving correct ?? We're not talking driving 350 miles pull over and car charges battery while you have dinner are we ?? Why cannot battery pack be segregated to allow powered cells to power vehicle while another bank is being replenished to allow continuous driving ??

Please, limit monochrome colors to 1 or 2 max. I'm so over seeing black, white, black, white, gray, sliver, gray, another gray, and some more gray on the roads. The new Broncos have more than enough grays to last us a lifetime.

Be bold, be different. Be Scout! My parents' Scout Traveler was yellow. Need to ask them which yellow, as I was just a little one when they bought it.

The Concord Blue and Bimini Blue Poly from 1978 are amazing. I would definitely get those.

As an avid outdoorsmen and someone who takes my truck places side by sides should go: I have had black and white but found silver will disguise more dirt and scratches than other colors. Hard to play on a classic silver but food for thought. Probably going to try copper but would also love a factory option for a clear wrap to protect the vehicle.

Agreed. Give me a color that will hide those trail scratches better and the desert dust. Silvers are good for that, white and orange. I love black vehicles but I will never own a darker colored vehicle because of where I take them. Those scratches and dust show up like a sore thumb!

I think a vintage gold color would look great and hide A LOT of blemishes
