Decoding Reservation Numbers

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Sorry to burst everyone's bubble. The numbers are completely random. But if you want to try and find patterns, go for it!
Hey @Jamie@ScoutMotors, I have been a long time lurker but actually created my community account AFTER I placed my reservation, but still within the 10/31 window, with the same email address, does that still give me priority or did I have to have the community account FIRST?

When Rivian launched someone discovered that your true order number was hidden in the page source code. Not sure if that is the case here or not?
orders #367744XXXX Traveler 10/24 3:34 pst
#535147#### Traveler Harvester 10/24 3:40 pst

Interesting that the number is random.

Traveler all electric.

I’m speculating a bit here as it wasn’t confirmed or stated but near the end of the first year of forum @Jamie@ScoutMotors told everyone to register on forum by year’s end because it would be a benefit. Reading between lines I assumed that to mean early order “privilege” if that’s the case there will be a LOT of reservations moving up even before general forum members. Again, my speculation but that’s another reason the reservation #’s are random.
Still nice knowing we should all have new scouts within the first 6mo the to end of year one 😀
@J Alynn are you referring to the above post with the October 24-31st registration priority, or am I missing something from a much older thread?

The 24-31 was announced at reveal. At the end of year 1 (like Mid November 2023) SM pushed everyone to sign on to be 1st year status which I’m only presuming was for a perk-like higher priority but I’m merely speculating at this point

That’s how we got those cool “1st year member” badges 😜
Speaking of cool badges, we got these at the reveal. First in a series of country wide badges but very cool they already started the idea
