Audio System Brand Poll

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Can we assume that these are optional audio systems? I’m hoping to avoid driving the cost of the new Scouts up even more so they can hopefully stick to the pricing presented at the reveal.
This is completely unscientific and based on brands I could think of or that have been mentioned. Just for fun, but I do know that Scout monitors this forum.

Definitely. I agree and thank you for putting this together. It would be amazing if they could include a decent audio system while sticking to reveal pricing, but I’m very price-sensitive so I had to mention price again. Sorry about that! :) Let the fun continue - I’m very curious to see everyone’s opinion!

My 2022 Ford F-150 Limited has the upgraded Bang & Olufsen system. It SUCKS. Pretty sure Ford just put the name on it. Speakers are made of cheap cardboard, no separate controls for subwoofer, ultra-basic low/mid/high EQ, weak amplification. Whatever you do, if you offer a premium system, please make it demonstrably better than stock. Audio is used all but constantly every time someone is in the driver seat. Every... single... time...

I can't believe Bose is winning this. "No highs, no lows - Bose" McIntosh would be incredible but of course Bose just bought them

Beats? Fender?

B&O is trash.

Anyone super serious about audio is going to rip and replace it all anyway.
Truth be told. I’m guessing whatever brand can give them a bit of uniqueness and keep pricing low will win the game. Music is important to anyone but SM never promoted a stereo on wheels. They promoted an American EV vehicle built tough enough to off road. You nailed the comment-audiophiles will tear out and upgrade.
As I’ve noted. If the vehicle is tuned and sounds good I don’t care what brand. My hunch is 90% of us if put in a cockpit and played music might be able to pick a clear winner but would have no clue whose speakers they are! All that said I still want a great quality stereo

Scout…any ideas on if a good audio will be included like in all teslas as they are standard….tesla has known for great audio and included across the board

Audio is very subjective unless you’ve got superhuman hearing ability and can pick up tones that most people can’t. I don’t think most people would be able to tell the difference in a blind test and at the end of the day it probably doesn’t matter and we’re most likely going to eat whatever dinner we’re served and if it that matters that much, the default audio will get ripped out and replaced. 😅

I somewhat can lol. I’m constantly adjusting my bass and treble to fine tune it.
