Accessories Poll For Scouts

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I casted my vote for a roof rack and molded mats. Please consider offering them as thick well made mats. Not the super thin flimsy mats that are offered with most new vehicles. For reference look at the 2023 Bronco molded mats. They are incredibly thin, they don’t stay in place and they look very cheap. Thank you!
I completely agree. After having Jeep all-weather mats, I was definitely shocked at how thin Ford made the Bronco version. I suppose they still work, but they’re thin enough that they don’t always stay conformed to the curves they were intended to hug.

I’d vote for a Scout version to be able to stay put, to take a beating, and still look good/rugged.

Was playing around today building a new Toyota 4-runner and stumbled on some cool accessories that would be cool in a similar manner. Using the option of phone, card, wrist band for access the hidden key holder compartment is great along with the other options for the same niche space. Also like the “themed” cords. If Scout did like braided orange plug cords I’d pay for that option. The Lexus we bought came with a pack as part of tech option and they are really nice-and a touch longer than typical cords. Just thought these were cool ideas

Folding mirror would be great on a vehicle this wide. Also Scout engineers please spend time on things I can't change. Bumpers, roof racks, lights and things that bolt on and off will be in after market world. I'm in church and weather outside getting cold and wife in pretty dress, want to get out my phone (silent mode) and turn on heated seat and set cabin temp. Tesla has forward camera that records all the time, nice if your in or witness mishap. Century mode, camp mode, dog mode, light shows and crazy fun stuff big brain engineers come up with. Work on that and leave things that need wrenches to us. Thanks

Yep, I have to agree about the whole wrenches part and I’ll add to that - Scout Motors please, please, please design the vehicles in a way that is friendly to aftermarket designers and engineers. Don’t make it difficult on the aftermarket. If it’s difficult to design for, the aftermarket will provide fewer options and at the same time they’ll also charge more for their products.

Again, please keep the aftermarket in mind during the design process as it shouldn’t be taken lightly. It sounds like some of that may be happening already, but please keep this in mind as it helps a community thrive around certain vehicles and I want to see Scout Motors capitalize on this. Trust me, there are many people out there who base their vehicle purchases partially on what is available from the aftermarket for each of the vehicles they are considering.

It's sometimes the small things that get overlooked. Somehow Chevrolet did it with the Silverado not even an option for mirrors to fold and the trucks are inching wider in width it seems every year. Another option should be in towing to have a trailer brake controller, small but useful features, that I would hope wouldn't be overlooked. I'm not as concerned if it has a slide out Blackstone grill in the frunk as I am of don't forget the basic standard features and options lol

Well @Bryan@ScoutMotors time to get to work lol. J Alynn got you some things to keep you busy if your not already lol.

I know everyone may not agree but I think the mirrors should be power folding, not manual. That’s a pain and another dirt point when you don’t need to have dirty/wet hands
And if they can’t fold automatically, please have a dedicated space in the car for a sanitizing wipe dispenser/little pull-out trash can for said wipes so folks can clean their poo-poo hands when they have to touch gross stuff.

My car has a nice feature where the passenger mirror can point down when you put the car in reverse. It's great for seeing how close to the curb or edge of the road you are. I use it every morning for backing down a long driveway with a steep drop off on the side.

I get allergies, so I'd use the space for kleenex. Wipes would be good to have too.

Always a great feature and nice to have. Forgot some cars do that
