Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

My 1965 Red Carpet Special was refinished to match it's original all white color, with red striping added to pay homage to the original color of the interior. The striping matches the original available paint option for red scouts with white stripes, to match the theme.

That being said, of the above color choices for the new scout, I like the dark green, dark blue, and blue/gray the best.

I vote for these specific IH colors:

Aspen Green 5683

Bimini Blue 6776

Dark Brown 1606 - This is a GREAT color with Winter White tu-tone

Harvester Red 2150 - I can't imagine not offering the Scout in genuine IH Red

Omaha Orange 0311 - If you going to offer orange choose the genuine IH color

Winter White 9219

Scout HQ. Don't over think the colors. Retro colors are ok for the very few that owned them originally in the 70's. Give us current colors. You want to do something cool learn from Mercedes do a few matt finishes. "Black"

Bronco did the same with its colors with the heritage model and that is not selling.

You update the entire platform update the colors also.

The Red on the Traveler at the reveal was very similar to Tahitian Red on the Scouts of the late 70s. In person, it looked incredible.

Hello Scouts!

We thought it would be fun to talk colors and see what people are interested in. So, let's assume black, white and silver are in the mix already. Here are a variety of different shades of fun colors for your voting pleasure. We are going to limit this just three votes per registered user, so pick your top 3 choices. Since it doesn't officially count, don't bother creating a different account just to bump something up. We will run some semi-official color polls much later as we get closer to production. Ok, so here are some general choices:

Sky Blue to match my Bronco Heritage Limited

cool! I have the Heritage Bronco in red and white. But I need a second vehicle. I hope Scout comes out with some other colors besides 15 shades of gray like Ford did! I don’t want another red vehicle. I was hoping for some cool hot rod colors from Scout. I put a reservation down for a scout. I’ve never had an EV before. It is my hope Scout will come out with a retro model like Ford did with their Bronco Heritage. PLEASE SCOUT HAVE A HERITAGE MODEL WITH A REMOVABLE ROOF!!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Here is my Bronco Heritage with Crater Lake National Park in the background.

Someone mentioned one of the Toyota TRDPro colors earlier. I've always found it fun spotting the special TRDPro colors out on the road. Jeep has some bright colors they offer on a limited run like High Velocity, Tuscadero Pink, Bikini Blue, Punk'N Orange, etc. I think it would be great to offer a different bright retro Scout color each year. Probably has to be a extra cost color but would let Scout be bold, gives folks a really poppin color if they want, and would make people smile seeing them on the trail.
