This is a really great video (esp for off-roaders) packed with information (some of which will be relevant to the new Scout). It is the first in a series that will follow up with building a GFC Topper and RTT very specifically into the Rivian bed. The challenge being custom mounting points, working around a spoiler and shark fin, integrated R1T bed control buttons for the gear tunnel and tailgate, etc.
The Rock Crawl information is good. With air you will be somewhat limited once raised fully, and may experience a harsher ride. I wouldn;t know from real world experience, b/c I don't do any true rock crawling. Good points about this likely being more of an edge case that Rivian allows you to handle if/when needed, but not necessarily with the most comfort.
There are a few "swings and misses" in here. For example, the frunk actually has a false floor that can lift away, so it is deeper than he shows. Also, you could absolutely road trip with some planning, which seems to get convoluted a bit with going way deep into a backwoods overlanding trip with zero infrastructure in rural Montana. My brother lives there, so I can appreciate that this is a challenge. However, there will be instances where you can go deep into rural areas or parks and access L2 chargers / destination chargers, or potentially reach a second home that has a charger (with or wihtout solar generation) and top-off before returning to civilization, for example. The range impacts shown are fairly accurate, although driving slowly down fire roads seemed a little less efficient than what I have seen.
All in all, one of the better videos aimed at adventurers:
