I like the concept! But imagine how crazy you would sound saying that to someone. When they ask what its classified under and your like its a SUAVE better know as a Sport Utility Active Vehicle Electric. Which I'm kinda liking the ring to it.

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

jk, take the time to get it right. I'm thinking though that we might see a mid to late September date for an announcement? Pop up shop gives the company great merch to have show up on video at an in person event. Scouts with a tire cover, employees and us wearing community shirts, trucker hats, etc.

Reveal date is official. October 24, 2024:
If the reveal will include an in-person event/briefing for the media, I would expect those invitations to go out at least two weeks before so that invitees have time to make arrangements to be there.
Since the media are terrible at keeping secrets the reveal date should probably be publicly announced at the same time as any invitations go out.
So if the event is taking place before the end of summer and includes an in-person media event/briefing I think we’d hear something from Scout before the end of this week or very early next week. This would also give time for news websites, blogs, podcasts and YouTube channels to create a bit of excitement and anticipation as they discuss the reveal date announcement and speculate about what will be shown.

Yeah I got the email from the forum to that thread, and now it appears to be gone? Getting cold feet?
I did like that the announcement specifically noted real buttons and real controls!
