Parents bought the red & white Scout II Ralley in 1977/78, living in Telluride, CO, we had it until '87, when it was in a car accident outside Palisade, CO.
All walked away, shaken but well!
Ah, We loved that vehicle!
It cleared the mountain passes, road the dessert washes, took us across the US, and served as a dependable workhorse, the nice car, the camping car, and a jungle gym when playing Tonto or Dukes of Hazard!
. There were four beloved Scouts in the high school parking lot, and it's always great to see a Scout on the road still working!
