  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

Not sure where to post this as typically this kinda stuff would go in a site suggestion thread and I didn’t find any such thing in searching…overall this forum is beautiful and a real work of art. Anyways if mod needs to move please do so…

But would it be possible to have a navigation to end tab “>|” at the TOP of each thread so we don’t have to scroll to the bottom to get that function?

From another forum I am a member on…this is at the top of a really long thread their that I read frequently… also on that site if I click (even in mobile view) the “# of #” area a pop up comes up where I can enter a page number and just jump there.

This literally is my only peeve with this wonderful and beautiful forum you all have started. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback and appreciate the kind words! I'll chat with @Jamie@ScoutMotors on this (he's the true mastermind behind the coding and architecture) and see how we may be able to add something like this!

Sorry, I saw this and then forgot to circle back...

So just to clarify, if you go to this thread:


It shows the page navigation the same both top and bottom. You're looking for an additional button to get to the last page quickly?

Got a link to a forum with your example? Just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.
 
Hi guys, yes a way to either jump to the last page or any specific page…sometimes threads get LONG and I might be reading through them and get interrupted and when I want to go back to my place it is nice to have a way to do that.

Here is the Link to the example I pasted above. When you go there note if you click on the numbers you can navigate to a specific page…it is pretty rad addition.

I see the “Jump to New” and that is great…I might have missed that. But the above is a bit more capable than that.

Ok, I'll dive into it. Xenforo has its quirks, but I'm sure it is something we can figure out. A lot different than the old software we ran on VWvortex back in the day! :D
