Hard to believe there isn't already a group for Texas. Can't wait to get one and make the drive from DFW to Big Bend National Park

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. I’ll also be road-tripping in my scout from DFW. Have property in the mountains of southern Colorado and can’t wait to take it up there for the first time! Is it 2027/28 yet?!?!
I've had my eye on some property in Larkspur. It'd be cool to get some Scout owners together for a Texas to Colorado drive.
That would be very cool! I'd even be willing to host a meetup at my place in Colorado. My property is about 160 acres at the base of the East Spanish Peak in Southern Colorado. It's remote and would be perfect to test out our new Scouts!
Looks like a pretty decent drive. 10.5 hours. Make it there in two-three days with charging and sight seeing.
I’ll be down for it. I’m in DFW and I have my registration in for the Scout SUV.
Frisco, here. Just put a deposit down on a Traveler earlier today. Mentioned it to a buddy and he has a deposit down now, too. 
Carrollton here, just put a deposit down on a Terra. Will be my first EV, replacing a Land Cruiser.
Prosper here. Put money down on both during the launch event as I couldn't decide which one I liked better.
Wow! Seriously! Those are some long odds! LOL. Where are you at exactly? East or West peak? We're at the base of the East Peak...Rouse Road exit off of I-25. My family has owned the property since I was 13 and I just turned 47, so been going up there a very long time. Love it up there and now my kids get to enjoy it too!
I'm on the south side, close to both peaks. I've only been there a few years and it's pretty much an unimproved campsite as of yet, but I have big dreams of building my cabin getaway up there some day. Truly a beautiful hidden gem of a region.
I'm also very interested in the specifics of the Harvester to know what exactly the drive will look like from Dallas... takes me 10 hours in my ICE Ram which I would be willing to extend a little bit but still need to make the trip in one day.
Nice! We had a cabin on our property, but unfortunately the wild fires that tore through the area back in 2013 destroyed it completely. I have a nice RV up there for now, but will ultimately rebuild. I still anticipate we'll be able to easily make it up there in a day with our Scouts. Charging infrastructure gets a little sparse in the Texas panhandle, but it shouldn't be an issue. I did reserve the Harvester Traveler though because I'm way too remote to rely on electricity alone. We have a nice solar system up at our place in Colorado though, and with all of those sunny days, it's going to be awesome to charge my Scout for free with my solar energy! Here's the view from my place...
