šŸšØ **Is the New Scout Shaking Up the Off-Road World?** šŸšØ

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scoutsā„¢. Let's get going.

šŸšØ **Is the New Scout Shaking Up the Off-Road World?** šŸšØ

Letā€™s get real: the **Scout** isnā€™t here to play it safe, and some off-road enthusiasts arenā€™t sure how to feel about it. With its mix of advanced tech, rugged design, and trailblazing capabilities, the new Scout challenges what an off-road vehicle *should* be.

šŸ‘€ **More Tech, More Terrain:** Some traditionalists argue that *true* off-road vehicles donā€™t need so much tech. But the Scoutā€™s cutting-edge GPS-guided terrain sensors, advanced driver-assist, and adaptive suspension are raising the bar. Is this the future of off-roading, or is it taking the ā€œwildā€ out of the wilderness?

šŸ† **Power Meets Efficiency:** The Scout is pushing boundaries with a high-performance engine that combines serious torque and eco-conscious fuel efficiency. For some, it's a win; for others, itā€™s a shift away from the raw, fuel-driven beasts theyā€™re used to. Has off-road evolved, or is this a break from tradition?

šŸŽØ **Design That Defies Norms:** The Scout doesnā€™t look like your typical ā€œboxy bruiser.ā€ Its sleek, modern styling has purists divided, but itā€™s catching eyes everywhere. For those who love the classic rugged look, itā€™s boldā€”but maybe *too* bold. Can the Scoutā€™s unique design really stand up in a crowd of icons?

āš–ļø **Versatility or Overkill?** With options from luxury interiors to serious custom off-road gear, the Scout is as versatile as they come. But is this level of customization what off-road needs, or is it an unnecessary blend of luxury in a space meant for grit?

**What do you think?** Is the new Scout revolutionizing off-road driving or stepping away from the roots that made it great? The adventure world is watching closely. šŸŒšŸ”„

Dope pitch for a YouTube channel/podcast, by the by. I sure didnā€™t think to ask these questions. I would have gone straight MLM:

Hi hun! Long time no see šŸ˜Š Is the New Scout Shaking Up the Off-Road World? Today only! šŸ¤©šŸ¤© šŸ§”šŸ’›šŸ’ššŸ’™šŸ’œ Id love to get to know you and chat! šŸ¤—šŸ’•

I donā€™t know why the Scout keeps being thrown into the hole of off-road driving, as though thatā€™s exclusively what it was made to do. It was a pretty utilitarian truck. It was being used as more and the new Scout recognized that it was being modded/used for more than the most utilitarian functions in these our modern times. The new design seems to reflect that.

Honestly, I don't recall many of those statement from the reveal. They are kind of mirrored in quite few threads, mostly by people fearful of this becoming a something more akin to the high tech Cybertruck than a Scout. While I don't really agree that tech should be excluded, I think the underlying fear is it will take over, and the eventual product will be more expensive than a Cybertruck by the time it is actually released. I think the starting price of the Cybertruck is also about 60k... Abet nobody in the world has taken delivery of one of them at anywhere near that.

Didn't get a mention on Expedition Portal. One thread is largely negative but only has 23 posts.

This is perhaps *the* forum dedicated to Overlanding, which seems what Scout Motors is aiming at.

So no, I would say there isn't a big splash.
