Are there going to be testers. I drive in the Texas heat and put 25,000 to 30,000 miles a year on my car. It’s a 100 miles round trip to work. I’d love to do some testing and provide feedback or data analysis.

Seconding this. Roof rails are great for things like a box, or skis maybe, and perfect for kayaks, but they're a nightmare for a bike. Center of gravity is way too high, you end up balancing the bike precariously above your head, and don't get me started about the dangers of parking garages...I can't claim anything useful for testing. I don't live anywhere extreme (unless you count rain as extreme, I'm in the PNW), and my use cases aren't extreme either.
But Scout Motors/whoever is reading if they need focus group information about mountain biking, PLEASE let me know. I am an "avid enthusiast" mountain biker who is very active on a number of forums, travels just for riding, does pedal access and lift access riding, etc (I'm at ~110k vertical feet of downhill this year so far).
(Case in point, the Traveler images with bikes on top sound like a great idea, but putting bikes on the roof of a 6ft tall SUV by yourself, is a giant pain. No one does that unless they absolutely have to, as its the worst.)

I absolutely love this. I love seeing Scout being active in their community. We will be taking some forum members along for some development drives in the future similar to us taking six forum members with us to the reveal event last week. Keep the suggestions coming, be an active contributor that welcomes and helps others out and anything is possible.
Is there anything you need help with Jamie . Was fortunate enough to make the reveal so I’ve had a great experience already. Thanks again for that opportunityWe will be taking some forum members along for some development drives in the future similar to us taking six forum members with us to the reveal event last week. And extended trailer hitch mount may be your best option.I can't claim anything useful for testing. I don't live anywhere extreme (unless you count rain as extreme, I'm in the PNW), and my use cases aren't extreme either.

I’ll also just put it out there that I’m a Software Test Engineer by trade so hunting for bugs and trying to break something so it can be fixed is what I do, so I would be happy to help in any capacity really. We will be taking some forum members along for some development drives in the future similar to us taking six forum members with us to the reveal event last week. I mean...I'm happy to do winter testing here in Canada. Just sayin'...We will be taking some forum members along for some development drives in the future similar to us taking six forum members with us to the reveal event last week. You’d end up changing all the settings to metric-Hahahaha.I mean...I'm happy to do winter testing here in Canada. Just sayin'...
I'll be able to cold soak the vehicle at -30C and bury it in five feet of snow here if you want.
But I appreciate that you mentioned the depth of snow in feet. You’ll eventually see it our wayYou’d end up changing all the settings to metric-Hahahaha.
Couldn’t resist -my friend!
I absolutely would! No way I'd use elephants or swimming pools or whatever random measurement system you Americans insist on using. I'll be sticking with real units of measure, like an adult. You’d end up changing all the settings to metric-Hahahaha.
