I'm brand new to this. I saw a commercial on Saturday morning and had a reservation a couple hours later. From what I have been able to read, the Scouts won't be at VW dealerships. Do we think there'll be events or opportunities to see options in person before we spec them out online? First time I have reserved an unreleased vehicle, so trying to get an idea of what to expect.

We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Likely they will have hubs / popups in major metros ahead of actual ordering books opening.
With plans to start production sometime in 2027, I would expect some sort of tour with more production level models to happen at least 12 months prior to that.
But..only scout truly knows.
I'd guess they'll follow something similar to the Rivian model, where there will be pop-ups and a few fixed locations to see the vehicle. I
can save you some trouble though. Crawled around the vehicles at CES. Certainly seem as if they'll be awesome vehicles!
