  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

The frunk is possibly one of the things I"m most excited about about the Scouts.

Now what I'd love is for there to be some sort of ventilation in there, so when I pack it full of sweaty mountain biking gear, it doesn't turn into a "funk frunk".
Maybe a small fan too. Wouldn’t take much juice to run something a bit smaller and find a venting area somewhere to force the air out/recirculate

Yeah, exactly.

Even a small duct for the HAVC system to dump heat/airflow into the frunk would be really interesting to have as well, if you wanted to add some warmth with the airflow.

Just imagine all the sweaty soccer/hockey bags, football pads, still snowy/icy skiiing gear, and other stuff like that that will be chucked in the frunk, and maybe even stored there. And no one wants that stuff to stink any worse than it does already :D.

put a bucket and some soapy water in there (for the washable stuff) and let it agitate all the way home!

I love rhe cup holders! Would love to see the “plank seat” referenced in the first reply. anyone have that? Or people using the drink as a seat?

There does appear to be a slit at the deepest part of the frunk as it forms the back wall. Assuming that’s what everyone is calling a “vent”?

I would honestly be ok if they eliminated the frunk to accommodate the harvester. I guess we will see.
Recently confirmed the Harvester will be rear mounted behind the axle.

I like the idea of HVAC system vents in the frunk. Maybe include a control for A/C and/or heat from inside with an option to open or close the small duct to control air flow to the frunk..

Might be nice to have a little A/C air for deep south frunk beach parties...
