Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I’m not a huge fan of the ElectricViking mainly for his hate of literally every manufacturer besides China. I can somewhat understand why, they are very advanced but you have to give hope to the other countries not only China. But this video was a bit interesting.

Just say this in the news, not starting anything political just sharing since I found it interesting.

“IF COMPANIES MOVE TO THE UNITED STATES, THERE ARE NO TARIFFS!!!” - President Trump

Agreed regardless of anyone’s political beliefs without jobs Americans don’t have money. Nothing against importing things but it shouldn’t be cheaper to build a car in another country then ship here than to build here.

😂 some of these articles are too much its a massive construction site it’s going to have some muddy run off until it’s complete.

This isn’t a small deal. It’s not as bad as, say, meat processing plants allowing their runoff to get into the local water systems (something that should hit home for folks in the Carolinas if I’m not mistaken, and it’s why I am never excited to see the Tyson or Smithfield names in a store or restaurant like it’s supposed to make me excited that I’m eating the meat of a company that polluted an entire population’s drinking water), but it’s not a small concern to mess up an ecosystem, no matter how small it seems to you. Killing off fish, who are a food source for something else in the food chain, throws off the balance of the local ecosystem and it can take years, decades, to recover… if it recovers at all. I’m disappointed to hear this.

Get your shit together, Scout, and figure out a better way of managing your runoff. 😤 There are people who get paid to know how to mitigate this stuff in construction. Pay the money and get it done.

Theres supposed to be water barrier fencing and storm drains put in place temporarily. I don’t know why it didn’t happen. It could be because of the massive amount of speed the project is happening. Cutting corners isn’t always the right way.
