A New Generation Of Scout

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

This is it. For the first time in nearly 45 years, a new Scout® truck and SUV will debut, proudly wearing the Scout badge.

The spirit of our Scout Reveal goes beyond celebrating the next generation of Scout vehicles — it represents the importance of staying connected as a community.

Together, we’re driving towards the future, bound by a shared passion for adventure, heritage, and innovation.

We want you to be part of this historic moment with us, so we will broadcast it live on

I've been so excited about the revival of Scout, especially as a line of EVs, ever since your announcement about a year and a half ago! I can't wait until the reveal on Thursday, AT LONG LAST! I have been concerned about the pricing of the SUV being in the range of the Rivian R1S, but recently read an article on Inside EV News, where Scout Motors announced pricing just north of $40K, which is Rivian R2 territory! I hope this holds true. I reserved the R2 the moment RJ revealed it back in March, but really want more off-road prowess than it will probably have. It looks like the R2 and Scout SUV may both be produced around the same time, in 2026, which fits when I plan to get my next vehicle. If the Scout delivers on my hopes, you may have a new customer/loyalist!

Any word on whether or not Scout will be taking reservations at the time of the reveal?

You'll have to free up the afternoon to see. We don't have any early confirmation on a removable roof. I'm personally betting on no, at least not like the originals. I'm guessing it will have a lot of windows that can open up or a portion of the roof will come off. Glad we have less than 9 hours till we find out
