Information on our live stream of the new Scout truck reveal is being emailed out today, but I wanted to post it here as well...


For the first time in 44 years, a new American truck and SUV will debut, proudly bearing the Scout badge across their grills.

On October 24, 2024, Scout vehicles officially mark their return with a reveal event in Franklin, TN. Located halfway between Fort Wayne, IN (the site of the first factory that started it all) and Blythewood, SC (the Scout factory of the future), a farm and a mountaintop provide a worthy backdrop to unveil the new Scout truck and rugged SUV to the world.

The event will be broadcast live at scoutmotors.com on October 24, 2024 @ 4:30 PM CDT.

I can’t wait for this. I’m so glad the vehicles are going to be outside in a natural environment. I can’t wait to see it all come together.

Hopefully a refreshing opposite to the fake product event Tesla just did where they had people speaking through mics to trick people into thinking the robots could have natural conversations and they painted the tires of the vehicle to make the rims look bigger. How ridiculous!

Was so excited until numbers dropped and then my hopes were dashed against the rocks. We did an inflation adjustment for what was paid for my parents’ Scout II in 1975 and it was about $32,000 in 2024 money. That ain’t $50K.

I dig the Traveller except the tire thing in the back. That can go.
