50 state vehicle

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Yeah-sorry. Probably some of the best bbq I’ve had and the hush puppies and banana pudding are definitely the best I’ve had (said by a PA resident) 🤣
we have an east/west divide in our house. My husband is from down east and swears by Parker's Barbecue. I'm from western NC and the best I ever had was the volunteer fire department fundraisers in Duncan's Creek but other than that it would be Bridge's in Shelby. If you're ever on either end of the state, definitely go by.

Washington State represented here! We can drive it on a beach at Long Beach legally, drive the North Cascades National Park (absolutely stunning). I have some ideas for some mountain shots (Rainier, St. Helen's, Adams). We can find something in the scablands in eastern Washington too, along with the waves of wheat growing on the Palouse. The tulip fields in Skagit County may be in bloom. We may be able to get shots at the ski slopes (there are several around).

There are different types of offroading we can do as well (mud, snow, sand).

I think you could make a lot of hay in Washington.

A cool shot would be one of the Scout’s on a ferry. I’m thinking coming into San Juan Island with Friday Harbor somehow in the background.

I'll offer myself up for the Massachusetts leg of the journey, or the whole thing if SM hires me for the position I recently applied for...
Heeeeeeeeeeey, no fair, I already offered myself up months ago. 😤 I am a fun middle-aged lady with camera presence, everyone wants to get to know me. Someone has to imagine someone in that car playing the role of the realistic wife who has considered putting antifreeze in their coffee on more than one morning versus the aspirational wife they’d take on a sexy vacation, and that realistic face belongs to me. 🤩 Also I am happy to rep eastern MA and its fine urban terrain because if you can drive through Boston’s seven-way intersections without crying, you are a hero. I am a hero. Also, I suggest that you film a Boston segment like it’s a level of Crazy Taxi.

Oh, that's right. You're in Boston. Maybe we should split up the state so you take everything east of the Quabbin Reservoir and I'll take the hills of Western MA.

Or, we could both do the full state tour and play the middle aged couple on vacation in MA. I'm a shoo-in for the realistic husband in that movie.

edit: You'd have to promise not to put antifreeze in my coffee during the filming of the movie. Oh wait. It's an EV so there shouldn't be any need to have jugs of antifreeze, motor oil, or any other engine fluids around.
:ROFLMAO:

Hey, I’m willing to share, but I make no promises about the state of our fictitious marriage: it would be my second one and for all we know, I’m the problem. Supposedly, it takes five failed marriages to confirm you’re the problem. 🤗

So what you’re saying is you want my late dad’s expired insulin and some air freshener in your coffee as the visual gag? I can keep the suggestions going. I can do this all day.
