50 state vehicle

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

I think since Scott Keogh has labeled the Scouts as 50 states vehicles there should be an amazing vlog series done showing the scouts in all 50 states AND since Scouts are an 8 day a week vehicle the Scouts should spend a week in each state AND since they were originally touted as being a farm to city type vehicle, each state should be representative of all.

And in our usual selfish ways, if you’d want to spend one day in each state with a forum member that would be awesome too (I’ll self promote for PA)

It could be a year long series and you’d still get 2 weeks to rotate people for vacations or get to Alaska and Hawaii. Better yet-for a salary to join SM I’ll offer my resume to be the driver for the whole series.

-See every state indepth
-Spend a night or two at hotels using chargers
-A night or two as overland or campground situations
-Taste regional foods
-Visit a regional park or two in each state-probably more in states like Utah and Alaska
-Meet the people-that’s what Scouts are about!

Explore America and show the vehicles as TRUE connections machines. Maybe the new Scouts are what is needed to reconnect America-to our heritage, to our neighbors, to our fundamental freedoms

Fantastic idea!

Great idea...

The "American Terra Traveler" team (all copyrights reserved) must include at least a Traveler and a Terra equipped with satellite live stream

jaime@scoutmotors - i will offer my services as a SM EV Pioneer on the American Terra-Traveler team for a salary of ZERO*

*(SM EV, per diem, & expenses covered by SM)

Ok I will do it for free...

I like the idea of the tour. Count me in for NJ.

The planning of the 50 states will probably suck, and will be really expensive.

Are you ready for the ultimate off-road adventure?

Maryland—crabcakes, football, and Scouts! It’s what we do. Travel to the far western part of Maryland through the Appalachian Mountains, exploring the scenic backcountry on muddy and rocky paths at Green Ridge State Park. Or, pass by the nation’s capital on your way to the Eastern Shore and Assateague National Park. The Scout is built to handle multiple terrains, including sand, as you explore the beauty of sunsets, sandy beaches, and wild horses during your OSV (Over-Sand Vehicle) trek at Assateague National Park.

Maryland is perfect for that family adventure, whether you're a novice or a seasoned pro. Embark on an unforgettable journey, get dirty, and discover new landscapes. Nature is calling.

You were pick for MD no matter what. 🤣

Pennsylvania offers flanking cities-Philly referred to as the birthplace of America and Pittsburgh as Steel City. We have the Liberty bell and giant steel mills including Pittsburgh, Bethlehem and Steelton.
Rolling farmlands that extend to Gettysburg and Valley Forge-both instrumental locations for our history’s civil war. We have Hershey-the sweetest place on earth and some of the oldest businesses and markets in the country. Our natural resources include the Pennsylvania little Grand Canyon, Lake Erie and numerous state parks. The northern areas are hard working coal regions and also includes the Pocono mountains. We also have amazing architecture throughout the state including Fallingwater, recognized as one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s greatest architectural achievements.
Then there’s the farmlands and Amish lifestyles to explore including the food based on their way of life-like the country’s largest food buffet and things like Scrapple, mush, shoofly pie, ham loaf, chicken pot-pie (noodles, not pastry crust) and Whoopie pies (not those “Gobs” they push in the New England states)🤣
Eat, sleep and explore all PA has to offer

Alabama can claim that we have something for everyone. Sweet Home Alabama offers everything from culinary contentment to outdoor adventure to city elation. Spend days on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, explore man-made and natural splendors alike, recharge as you hike awe-inspiring forest trails, and even eat your way through the state. Alabama offers Southern hospitality. It’s the state for the great outdoors, music legends, the civil rights legacy, scientific dreams, and discovery. Alabama: an idyllic destination regardless of what you want to experience.

NJ- We have some of the best beaches around from what I have been told by people who have traveled the beaches of the US. Being I’m a beach kid I know the ins and outs of the beach towns. Grew up and still live at the beach. We also have the great Jersey pine barrens. And plenty of great fishing spots inland, and out on the ocean a few miles off shore. And we have some great pizza places and restaurants.
