  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
These spear decals will look incredible, I think moreso on the Terra.

Looks good on legends. Let’s see them mocked up on the new. I love the old graphics but still not sure on the new. I was so set on graphics but now I’m second guessing having seen it in person
Thoughts....?

I gave it a try.... not sure why it pixelated in the rear .... Looks a little too glossy... should be a single stage paint vs the modern clear coat over color coat.... If they make it I'll buy it. Keep the colors fun, that was a great aspect of the cars from the 60s and 70s.

My dad had a Scout II when I was a kid (it was a light blue), then he had (we still have it) a scout II pickup, and my brother bought a pickup from the International Commercial Truck dealer that was a parts runner that was clapped out as his first car. We got a lot of family history with Scouts.

Could you photoshop a white roof and panel behind rear side window like you did with the black on the sand color? On the orange, green and blue versions

Even if Scout wasnt to get involved with masking off the rear pillar on the production line a vinyl wrap of this area would be a simple matter. As I was doing the photoshop I did not like the look, even though it was my preference in a perfect world. Now looking at completed I will probably have to make this change on my Traveller .

That is looking buttery... Love it.

I know a bunch of R1S owners did the same thing with their rear pillars (with vinyl), and it really did look better than factory That thing is a sexy beast and it pops the waist of the truck... I just hope there is enough glass in these. The belt line is a bit high and tight, but proportionally it is large, so maybe there is plenty of glass. I like sitting in a fishbowl to take in all the sights, not a can of tuna.

I think the hight of the belt line is driven by Washington regulations. I would not hold your breath for more glass.
