I haven't done any calculations, but I imagine a 4 foot long fiberglass antenna used for CB or GMRS radio is probably a little bad for driving range on an electric vehicle. Maybe a couple miles. It would be cool if the new Scout had one of those modern shark fin antennas optimized for 2-way radio, and has coax cable headed to the dash. Or even a dealer option for the radio. GMRS around 465 MHz may be easier to design a small antenna for than CB at 27 MHz. Ideally it could do both. Seems like few people are using CB these days, so GMRS would be the priority.
