From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Very nice. The Sportop is underappreciated. It was a sales failure back in the day but was also a pivotal historical jump into mainstream marketing for International at the same time. A combination of an "eye-of-the-beholder" appearance and being the hghest priced Scout doomed it. For my research, I'd geatly appreciate seeing the VIN. Better yet, the LST, which would give me an opprotunity to potificate on where it sits historically (i.e. early/late '66, etc).
So glad it has remained in the same family all this time and that you managed to retain it intact and are doing it historical justice in the restoration. Hat's off to you!
