Tailgate a bit more old school?

Wouldn't it be cool if the tailgate had come more modern nod to the old school tailgate? Dip in a bit somehow instead of flat across. Seems like this would set it apart from the crowd a bit.

They literally flipped latch and swung out tire carrier then clicked a button and everything opened up. Was pretty slick. Just assuming when done that just the top glass will operate without opening lower gate if you want to load things like 2x4’s

Certainly won’t flip open with tire in place. Roll down won’t work with current design. Still thinking the tire needs to be removable.
After watching a YouTube video, that tailgate really looks like too much work to simply open up and put something in.
