Dash Rail with USB C ports

Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. In the attached Video the small detail I learned and wanted was power near a mount for a radar detector, go pro or Dashcam.

it looks as though there are at least two outboard usb C ports in the Dash accessory rail groove just under the rail at the 10:14 mark in the video.


its Mach e vlog at CES looking at Scout if that link doesn’t work.

I was hoping usb C ports would be up high at the rearview mirror housing for dashcams and radar, etc.

Hopefully, Scout Dashcams will be better than aftermarket with front dual Telephoto / wide angle views, sound on/ off, HDR with night vision, etc but aftermarket is more nimble up to now.

Would love a USB C along the rail and up near the rearview mirror. Last thing I want to do it start routing wires and pulling trim pieces on my new vehicle.
