First year Scout, mostly...
Tell us about your Scout:
I had plans to build an 80 for my wife for a few years, then I got a rough but solid body on frame for free. It had little more than that, no drive train, axles, seats, etc. Bought a drive train from a fellow club member that was going for a diesel swap, bought another donor, then... A buddy turned me on to a 61 on Craig's list which turned out to be rust-free. Yes, it was truly rust-free, but the previous owner(s) had done some really dumb things. Bondoed dent repair and mismatched axle ratios were the worst, you know the drill on other SSPOD. Rebuilt one of the donor 152,s got the bodywork, painted it, and had a stock seat reupholstered. Still chasing a bunch of other stuff to get it properly sorted. I wanted to keep it stock, albeit with mismatched parts, just added a dual master cylinder and modern vintage radio.
