  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

What do you think of the designs from Alpha Motors?

Oh man - the Coupe PE is fun. Kinda like a 60’s Skyline meets Nissan Figaro meets the future. I dig the Adventure Series a lot. The Estate is almost there too - but I think there’s something off with the length and angle of the front end/hood that makes it appear too rounded overall (if that...

What do you think of the designs from Alpha Motors?

Love this company and the designs so far. Definitely on the list for me. I hope the new Scout can pull off something classic like this.

    Second Scout Teaser Image Released

I think Dodge's electric Daytona SRT did a great job blending the classic and modern specifically in the front fascia and grill. They managed to keep the depth and layering while also adding modern elements and avoiding the bland EV flat front. I don't know for sure but it appears they built...

    Second Scout Teaser Image Released

Messing around with '76...shiny & chrome... And, while we are in chrome world - let's Travelall this thing...it only makes sense... Is it bad that I kinda like the Travelall one? Probably, but nevertheless, i do.

    Second Scout Teaser Image Released

Haha - no worries man - I know it's nowhere close to accurate but I like to visualize these things.

    Second Scout Teaser Image Released

Agree...let's try some more... Keep it vertical, get away from the Wrangler... Or a bit more Scout II... I think they both look pretty cool. Excited to see where actual designers land. Certainly going to look a lot better than my Keynote image cropping skills :)

    Things to Avoid

In my wife's CX9 the "Keyless Entry" function is ridiculous. If you have the key in your pocket, and push the button on the passenger side door, it unlocks all doors. If you do the same with the drivers side door it only unlocks the driver door. I'm sure there is a reason, but in everyday use...

    Scout Color Poll #1

Agree - Jeep had "Dune" and the even better "Gobi" - would love to see something like that.

    Second Scout Teaser Image Released

Hmm...needs a front end... Also - is that a full front bench I see? Sadly that roof doesn't look removable... Overall I like it and think it has a ton of potential. When do we get more?

    Scout Color Poll #1

If there is anything like Jeep's Anvil I'll have a hard time not buying one. Audi's Nardo Grey is also impressive. As are some of the Copper and Dark Green colors from the original Scouts.

    What Are You Driving Now?

2018 JLUR (3.6) - Excited to see what comes of this. Haven't been in anything but a Wrangler since I was 16 but the Scout is iconic and has my attention.
